ATASCADERO — November 4, 2026. Atascadero’s mayoral and city treasurer races each had one ballot-listed candidate on November 3, according to unofficial San Luis Obispo County results.

What the early count shows

Mayor Charles Bourbeau received 4,924 reported candidate votes; City Treasurer Jeri Rangel received 4,758. The posted tracker shows 100% of candidate votes in these single-name contests going to each candidate.

How to interpret the vote

The displayed 100% does not mean every eligible voter selected that candidate; undervotes and other turnout questions are separate. An unopposed election is still subject to the county’s official canvass and certification. The contested City Council seats are covered separately.

Next official result

This article refers to the county’s fourth unofficial election-night update, approximately 1:47 a.m. November 4. More eligible ballots remained to be counted. All outcomes and quoted totals are preliminary until the San Luis Obispo County Clerk-Recorder completes the canvass and certifies the vote. Refer to the county’s official election results page for any later figures.
